Hans Zeiger Hans Zeiger was recognized by Newsweek's Current magazine as one of the "College Vanguard" – among "15 Students You Don't Know … But Will," he was named the top student religious leader on the nation's campuses. A senior at Hillsdale College in Michigan, Hans is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies. The 21-year old Eagle Scout grew up and attended public schools in Puyallup, Wash., submitting his first letter to the editor at the age of 8 and beginning his first book at the age of 16. Hans is author of "Reagan's Children: Taking Back the City on the Hill" (Broadman and Holman, 2006) in which he contends that young Americans born when Ronald Reagan was president are leading a generational shift back to traditional values. His first book was "Get Off My Honor: the Assault on the Boy Scouts of America" (Broadman and Holman, 2005). Hans writes a column in WorldNetDaily every Thursday, and his work appears in GOPUSA, OpEds.com, Intellectual Conservative and other Internet publications. Hans was a freelance columnist for the Seattle Times NEXT page, and he has written articles for the San Francisco Chronicle, Philadelphia Daily News, Baltimore Sun, San Diego Union-Tribune, Insight, Birmingham News, Conservative Battleline, Wisconsin State Journal, Tacoma News Tribune and Townhall.com. A finalist to speak at the 2004 Republican National Convention, Hans has been a guest on numerous radio and television programs, including National Public Radio, "700 Club," "The Lars Larson Show," "Point of View," "Crosstalk," "Concerned Women Today," "The Complete Story with Dick Bott," the Ken Hamblin show and the Laura Ingraham show. Hans has been referenced on the Rush Limbaugh program and in newspapers and magazines, including The New York Post, National Review Online, Washington Times, Education Week and Mother Jones. |
